What Lies Ahead

One of the mantras that move my life is undoubtedly: —Visualize and Transform—, I truly do not know where this came from but it has always been present since I can remember, I don’t believe in decay, particularly intellectual and spiritual and as for physical… well… that’s a human challenge as we can’t escape gravity but we certainly can preserve a good quality of life until we get all pruney and go beyond.

Now, where are we going with this? I’m sharing the source of my inspiration, resilience and the pursuit of an ever changing self; the key secrets and rather behaviours to train my mind are founded in the simple observation of nature; nature never ever stops transforming not even for a split second. Once something stops evolving it doesn’t stop transforming but it starts decaying.

Design from nature

Endless constructions, endless engineering, endless systems perfected at any scale, endless shapes, forms, colors, behaviors and voices all happen before our eyes. How not to find one’s self in awe at all times?

Those patterns on the picture above are the images I applied on the clipping mask of the Arterra title on my site’s home page, those are a collection of pictures taken throughout a number of years without a plan, I just took them because I found them monumentally beautiful and they speak to me about the universe that exists with in each element and the events that had to happen to let these be such. Some will last a few days, some will continue to evolve and some had been here since before our own beginnings.

What lies ahead is a continuum, it might be uncertain at times and most times but only one thing can give fruit and it is the pursuit of an ever changing mind capable of transformation, one foot in front of the other for us to get to be or become who we visualize . I pursuit design (visual communication) to translate the beauty I see and to evoke an emotion, an action, a feeling a thought… maybe just to make you move a little or get a smile.

Have a sweet week, stay at play and get outdoors.

Cheers!
